Johannah Varland Memorial Endowed Scholarship

To establish a perpetual scholarship fund to honor Johannah Varland, Cuesta College alumna, donor and employee. To support and encourage students at Cuesta College who are underrepresented and with financial need.

The student{s) awarded must demonstrate financial need, participate in a club supporting underrepresented groups, such as MEChA, Black Student Union, Latina leadership Network, etc. Preferred students will also be returning to college (such as re-entry students).
